Meet the Ethiopia team

  • Mamo Petros Godebo

    Mamo is the regional director and project coordinator of LOWO Phase II at IIRR Ethiopia. Mamo is responsible for the regional office in the Kembata Tambare Zone. Previously, he worked as SEF of youth in the health and chaplency department between 2015 to 2020 and since 2012, as office coordinator at the Hawassa branch of Aquaponix Netherlands. Mamo also served various directing positions in the SDA organization. Mamo holds a BA degree in Procurement and Materials Management from Jimma Univerisity and a MSc in Gender and Family Science from Hawassa University.

  • Temesgen Yadore Gadiso

    Temesgen is an officer at IIRR Ethiopia and started work on LOWO Phase II in September 2021. He earned a BA degree in 2017 from Wolaita Sodo University in English language and literature and earned his MA degree in TEFL from Hawassa University in 2021. Before joining IIRR Ethiopia he worked as an English teacher in Debub Ethiopia college academy since 2000 - 2013 in Hawassa Ethiopia. He is so happy to work with IIRR Ethiopia and carry out all his responsibilities as a project officer.

  • Temesgen Zeleke Ergeno

    Temesgen is project officer of IIRR Ethiopia. Temesgen is responsible for leading, organizing and facilitating the LOWO project in the Kembata Tembaro zone. He started his career in 2018 as a community development facilitator at Gogota Care where he also served as a community mobilization officer between 2019-2021. Temesgen has a BA degree in sociology from University of Gondar and is currently completing his studies in Sociology at Wolaita Sodo University in Ethiopia.
